Day Eight of the Lemonade Cleanse

Day 8, another day down. This lemonade cleanse is just crazy. Crazy in a good way! I just can't say enough about how great I feel. I'm going strong and loving it. I wrote about how this has felt like pushing an internal button and just "resetting myself," it's simply amazing. Another example of this is that even my sense of smell seems heightened. I feel like I detect smells much more significantly these days.

I'm counting down to being finished in a few days. I really feel like a few more days will be a piece of cake. The way i feel now I'll probably be adding maybe 2 to 3 more days before coming off the lemonade diet.

I know this is gross, but at about day 6 for me is when I really started to see significant waste being flushed out of my system. Today was the most "impressive." Yeah I know, disgusting. But hey, you'll see what I mean if you do the cleanse yourself. Anyway, another day of the lemonade cleanse down and only a few more to go.

Day Seven of the Lemonade Cleanse

Well day seven down. I'm actually writing this a day late and can say everything is going great! I'm on the home stretch now and I have to say, I am considering staying on the lemonade cleanse for a few more days. I feel unbelievable, I think I mentioned it in an earlier post, but it's like I've pressed an internal reset button or something.

I am full of energy, I'm not dragging or tired like I use to be. Though the lemonade cleanse has helped me to feel great and lose weight, the result overall is that is a whole new outlook. Because I feel good and have the energy, I'm getting things done much easier, no more being lazy. I have a great attitude towards just about anything.

In the beginning I would every now and then feel like I should be eating even though my stomach didn't really feel that way. it was my mind telling me I should be feeding my face. For the past few days I haven't had any issues with that anymore. Now it's like I don't even think about it which is great.

I may stick with this for a few more days, but that will be it. As healthy as I feel now and that the cleanse is for you, I don't think it's a good idea to fast for an extended period of time. This was actually discussed in the master cleanse guide I have mentioned. I do suggest using it as a helpful resource while doing the cleanse, it's got a ton of information. In particular it has an in depth section on finishing up the cleanse and how to go about switching back to solid foods safely and correctly. Anyway, I think I'll go an extra day or two, then follow the steps in the guide to come off of the lemonade cleanse. I can't believe how well I've done with this and that I'll be done in a few days!

Lemonade Cleanse Diet Day Six

Here we are at day six of my lemonade cleanse. I've got to say this has really been great so far. I've mentioned I really haven't had to much of an issue with being truly hungry, and so far so good. For instance today, I was in the mall and walked through the food court. Surprisingly I had no temptations or cravings at all! The smell of pizza and other good stuff smelled great, but it didn't make me want to eat or go off the deep end.

I really think the cleanse has made a huge difference on my body as well as mentally in helping with this. One thing I have forgot to mention is that I have been taking the wheat grass supplement suggested in the Master Cleanse Secret's guide. Once again, I would definitely suggest getting this guide if you're going to do the cleanse. The additional information available in the guide has been outstanding. Anyway, in one section it talks about this wheat grass, you can check out the book if you want more info on it. But following the suggestion and information around it I'm pretty sure has paid off in helping with NOT having hunger issues all the time yet still taking in the proteins your body needs, especially since we can't eat whole foods while on the cleanse.

I also haven't commented much on weight loss yet. Six days in and I have lost 8 pounds already. From reading I've heard weight loss varies from person to person, I'm pretty happy with what I've lost so far. I can hardly believe it, but I even feel more comfortable in my clothes now. In fact, I could drop at least 1 size down for my pants, maybe even 2 sizes by next week! This lemonade cleanse rocks!

The Master Cleanser Day Five

Day five of the master cleanser folks. Half way there now and going strong! Not a whole lot to really report today. I had mentioned some headaches yesterday, this morning I had a slight headache but as the day and evening went on I was fine. Tonight so far it hasn't come back. I'm thinking it was just part of the body getting use to the whole going without food thing.

I feel really great and again today had more energy and drive than ever before. I've heard it described as pushing a reset button in yourself and starting fresh and i would totally agree. It's day 5 and i honestly can't believe I've made it this far. Hunger has not been an issue like I thought it was going to be. I mean my mind still tells me every now and then i want to eat, but I'm just not feeling it in the belly thankfully.

Whenever I get a craving or think about eating, I go to the lemonade right away and then have a big glass of water. This has done the trick for me so far. Five more days on the master cleanser and I'm home free. If you're doing it as well, more power to you and good luck!

Lemon Diet Day Four

Day Four on the lemon diet folks! A few things to share for today's progress. Well, this evening I went ahead and gave the salt wash a go. Big mistake. I really didn't like it at all, but then again who is really going to right? Personally I just couldn't get thru it. I started to drink it and it just tasted horrible. I even tried to jug it for a second or two and just gave up on it. I'll stick to the smooth move tea, it gets the job done.

Next, I've had headaches at varying times of the day. Nothing to the point that it was unbearable to deal with, but enough that it bothered me. On that note though, it's extremely strange to me to be feeling rather good at the same time! What I mean is that despite the headaches, my body and my whole mood just feels really good. I've got a lot of energy like most claim to feel on the cleanse, so even with the headaches I'm happy with the progress so far.

Surprisingly, I still haven't felt like I'm starving. I really can't believe I'm feeling and saying that, but it's true. Every now and then my mind is telling me I want to eat, but my belly just isn't feeling it. I followed a few of the "tricks" in the Master Cleanse Secret's guide when it comes to tackling the hunger issues many people face on the lemon diet, so I think it's paying off so far. I truly hope that I'll stay on track like this for all 10 days.

Day 3 on the Lemon Cleanse

Three days down on the lemon cleanse! Things are going ok I would say. I still haven't felt like I was starving which is surprising to me. My mind is telling me I WANT to eat, but I'm not feeling hungry to the point that it's unbearable. I will say the evenings are when feeling hngry comes on the most, but only slightly... so far.

Starting yesterday, I'm getting stomach cramps early in the morning. Nothing painful but stuff is going on in the 'ol bell. It's really gross to be blogging about this, but I'm in the bathroom about 4-5 times a day now. Aside from the slight cramping feeling in the morning, I feel really great. I actually feel a lot more energetic than ever. This surprises me because I really didn't buy into what I read about the energy increases. I don't know how, but this lemon cleanse thing is working and I lost another pound today. So far I'm very happy with how things are going.

Thursday

The Lemon Cleanse - Day Two

So here we are, my post for day two. I guess i can say the lemon cleanse is going well. I haven't cheated, I haven't quit, so all good. But, for day two I did get a bit hungry. During the day wasn't that bad, but as I got into the evening I really wanted to cheat and just eat a snack or something.

However, I fought it off and stayed strong. I referred to the pre-cleanse steps from the lemon cleanse guide I have mentioned and it brought me back on track and got me focused again. I think the guide is going to really help me this time around, I know it's only day two, but I have a feeling the next couple days will be quite a challenge until I get over the hump.

I'm also considering using one of the optional tricks in the guide to fight hunger and help get me thru these first few days. We'll see, but for right now so far so good. I feel fine, no issues. I did weigh myself and I lost 1.5 pounds already. I'm looking forward to seeing just how much weight I do lose over the course of 10 days and how it levels off. They say doing the lemonade cleanse people lose anywhere from 1-2 pounds per day!

Lemonade Master Cleanse - Day One

Ok, so I'm finally getting around to posting about my first day on the lemonade master cleanse. I actually started this past Friday. I waited until then because I had a long weekend off, Friday to Sunday. That way I didn't have to worry about being out somewhere and having to find a restroom in a hurry! Doesn't hurt to take precautions when getting started lol.

Anyway, day one went rather well. I really didn't have any hunger pangs and didn't work up any kind of crazy food cravings. I know it's only day one, but I really love to eat lol. But like I said, day one went very well and I'm looking forward to the upcoming days on the cleanse.

There isn't really much to talk about today since it is only day one, but as the days go on I'll be able to share more details on my lemonade cleanse experience and how it's going for me. I probably won't be posting every single day, but I'm taking notes for each day and will blog here every couple days so keep checking back if you're interested.

Lemonade Cleanse Pre-Cleanse Steps

Ok, so I'm about to start the lemonade cleanse for a second time. Like I said before, the first go was pretty pathetic lol. I really didn't do much research, really didn't have true goals in mind, and wasn't really focused.

Over the next couple days I am going through the pre-cleanse phase from the guide I got a hold of. You can check out "Master Cleanse Secrets" for yourself if you're interested in doing the same. I briefly mentioned this guide in my first post and for this second run at the lemonade master cleanse, I'm glad I found it. I highly encourage you to do the same, espeically if you're doing this for the first time.

The steps I'm going through now I feel will give me leverage against myself so to speak in getting through this successfully. On top of looking forward to the gains detailed in step 2 of the pre-cleanse, I feel very confident now that this time around I'm going to get through the full 10 days of this lemonade cleanse with flying colors!

Lemonade Cleanse - Getting Ready For Success

So I'm going to give the lemonade cleanse diet another go! I only lasted a couple days when I tried it in November last year, pretty pathetic I know! However, this time around I am ready to go the whole 10 days! I've been doing a good bit of research on it and have learned that there was a lot I was missing when I first tried it. In fact, the way I started it I was pretty much setting myself up for failure.

The lemonade cleanse is a very basic diet. Challenging in certain respects but still very basic. But, there are quite a few "small details" that you have to be aware of if you're going to get the diet down right and be successful with it. A friend of mine who went thru the cleanse had a great run. She lost 18 pounds in 10 days! I was very happy for her and want to achieve the same for myself. Her goal was actually more oriented towards the benefits of the body detox the cleanse provides and she got great results. Her skin actually cleared up and she raves about how healthy and energetic she feels now. Her whole outlook has changed to a more healthy lifestyle and she hasn't had a problem with craving all the junk food and bad habits.

So as I discussed the problems I had with Deb, she informed me of a few things right off the bat that I was doing wrong when I first tried this diet. She also referred me to a guide she used to help her get thru the cleanse. It's called Master Cleanse Secrets. You can check out the guide yourself, so far from what I've read I am very confident I will make good progress and be successful this second time around. The guide actually shows you how to prepare yourself just prior to starting the diet to give you an advantage and make sure you're ready when you start. Plus it gives a lot of information I had no idea about before which I was actually doing wrong myself.

Anyway, I am doing this blog as another way to help me stick to the lemonade cleanse, keep motivated, and document my progress. I will continue to document my progress and will share information I learn from my experience. This time around I will get through a successful lemonade cleanse!
